Welcoming Mohamed Hasnaoui to Baudenbacher Law AG

Baudenbacher Law AG is pleased to welcome Attorney-at-Law Mohamed Hasnaoui as a new member of its team.

Professional Background and Academic Engagement

Mohamed Hasnaoui is a German–Tunisian citizen and is admitted to practise law in Switzerland, having passed the bar examination in the Canton of Zurich. He studied law at the University of Basel and at Albert Ludwig University of Freiburg (Germany). In addition to his legal practice, he serves as a lecturer in commercial and corporate law at the Baden-Württemberg Cooperative State University (DHBW), which was recognised as a Top University 2026 in the category of universities with more than 15,000 students.

Like all Baudenbacher lawyers, Mohamed Hasnaoui is a legal generalist. His practice focuses in particular on business law, litigation, as well as IT law and cybersecurity. He also advises on domestic and cross-border debt collection and insolvency matters and has developed substantial experience in white-collar crime through his involvement in complex criminal and regulatory proceedings.

International Expertise and Research Contributions

Mohamed Hasnaoui has further contributed to the Working Group on the Jurisdiction Project under the auspices of the Hague Conference on Private International Law (HCCH), which is tasked with developing draft rules addressing parallel proceedings and related actions in cross-border litigation.

He is proficient in Swiss and German law and advises both domestic and international clients. He speaks German (native), Arabic (native) and English. In addition to his professional work, Mohamed Hasnaoui regularly publishes on topics relating to civil litigation, white-collar crime, and artificial intelligence.
